Welcome to CPT. We are a leading edge concrete repair and corrosion mitigation organisation, manufacturing innovative and niche products designed to identify, prevent and stop corrosion. Our team includes some of the industry’s most respected experts in reinforced concrete and steel frame building pathology and corrosion control techniques. From our UK base we research, develop and manufacture cutting edge technology for reinforced concrete structures and steel framed buildings around the world.
Working in collaboration with engineers, surveyors, property owners and concrete repair contractors we design bespoke corrosion control systems for structures as diverse as wide span bridges to historic buildings. We have successfully advised on and subsequently delivered long lasting solutions for many millions of pounds worth of projects since we began in 2005.
As part of our specialist services we offer testing, system design, monitoring and training via our in-house seminar or webinar CPD’s.
Gareth, Nigel and Adrian founded the company in 2005, and have been a key part of the company’s success and growth for almost 20 years. They continue to develop our ground-breaking technology that has helped to prevent destructive corrosion in steel reinforced concrete structures across the globe. Our Directors are extremely proud of what CPT has achieved so far and are fundamental in the future evolution of the business.
Tim is our Sales Director. Prior to joining CPT he was Managing Director of USL Group, a global provider of niche specialist products and services for the construction industry. He has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Building Surveying and is the author of a number of award-winning industry publications.
Over his working life of almost three decades Tim has operated within the field of property refurbishment, structural repair, waterproofing and corrosion control and has a proven track record of establishing and growing business in the US, Canada and Europe.
Outside work Tim is the Chairman and Treasurer of his local football club and enjoys keeping fit as well as spending time with his two teenage children.
David is our Commercial Manager. He has worked for CPT since 2015. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Building and has over 25 years’ experience in concrete repair and corrosion prevention. David has written articles for numerous technical journals and presents seminars at conferences and to professional practices in the UK and overseas. He enjoys the challenge of designing corrosion management solutions for critical structures and assisting engineers and surveyors in preparing appropriate repair specifications.
David also has a key role in supporting CPT’s business Internationally including the US.
Martin is our Technical Sales Manager. He offers support to clients in the UK market, delivers technical seminars and attends trade shows to promote CPT products and services. Martin assists clients with tender submissions, ensuring a robust, cost effective corrosion management solution is achieved.
He has experience in the mechanical engineering sector and has project managed heavy engineering projects including provision of tunnelling equipment for the Channel Tunnel and infrastructure for hydroelectric power stations. Martin has an apprenticeship and ONC in Engineering.
Outside work he supports Nottingham Forest FC and Chesterfield FC.
Christian has both a Masters in Physics and a Masters in Material Science and Engineering. He is a technical expert in RAAC and cathodic protection of concrete, and spends his time between CPT and Loughborough University. Christian works with many prestigious clients including NHS trusts and Pension Funds, sits on the Technical Committee of the CPA/CRA, and contributes to international bodies helping to guide engineers in corrosion management, as well as supporting our partners outside the UK.
Christian is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and presents in-house CPD seminars and webinars to engineers, surveyors and property managers, most recently with a focus on Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC).
Sam is our Project Manager and Head of CPT Surveys including overseeing our site support teams. He is also a Level 3 Cathodic Protection Senior Technician BS EN ISO 15257. His team of qualified technicians produce high quality and comprehensive in-depth test reports utilising the latest corrosion survey techniques including meaningful and actionable recommendations.
In addition, Sam specialises in the design of corrosion prevention solutions and the monitoring of galvanic and impressed current cathodic protection systems.
In his spare time Sam enjoys watching football and taking trips in his Campervan.
Warren joined CPT after completing his A-levels and has been a dedicated member of the company for over a decade. As Production Manager he oversees our ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems and plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the factory production schedule is efficiently managed and that product orders are precisely fulfilled in line with our customers expectations.
Warren works closely with our international distributors making sure that orders are professionally processed, shipped correctly and delivered in a timely manner. What he enjoys most about working at CPT is the exceptional team spirit and the collective drive for success.
Outside work, he is an avid golfer and enjoys watching football.
