RebaGuard™ anodes are very ideal for use where isolated areas of a structure are affected by chloride ion ingress or where thin concrete sections prevent drilling.
Rebaguard anodes redress the electrochemical imbalance induced as a result of the removal of the influence of previously corroding steel in the patch repair. Prior to repair, this corroding steel offered cathodic protection to adjacent steel. Rebaguard anodes corrode preferentially to steel adjacent to the patch, protecting it from further corrosion damage.
